Goring is dominated by interwar and post-war semis and bungalows, which means an enormous number of roofs built to a similar spec within a couple of decades of each other, and reaching the end of their original covering's life at broadly the same time. Concrete tile, mortar-bedded ridges and original felt are the recurring picture.
